Holiday Assistance for CCC Families

In this season of giving, many people look to assist families and children who are in need.  If a CCC family predicts  that it will have a hard time providing Christmas gifts and a meal for its children, we like to provide a helping hand.  CCC is blessed that organizations like St. Vincent de Paul and the LMPD have assisted in providing holiday meal opportunities.  CCC also has volunteers and donors who provide gift opportunities for children.

Many children have asked for books, sporting equipment, and clothing.   If you would like to join in helping a young child realize the joy of Christmas, please feel free to contact Heidi Imberi-Hamilton at 424.9398 to get more information.

2013-2014 School Year Begins with 48 Students

As schools prepare to begin, CCC has registered 48 students for the 2013-2014 school year.  CCC will assist the families of 36 elementary students attending Notre Dame Academy, St. Anthony in Clarksville, St. James, & St. Leonard.  Twelve high school students who participate with CCC will attend Holy Cross High School, Presentation Academy, Providence High School, and Trinity High School.

CCC is blessed to be able to assist these students and their families by providing tuition assistance to  a Catholic school.  In addition to tuition assistance, CCC also provides educational support in the form of school visits as well as after-school tutoring; community building opportunities; and family counseling.

PSAS Applications Due March 15

Each CCC family is to complete a PSAS application in order to be eligible for tuition assistance.  March 15 is the postmark deadline for the application.  Parents are asked to make a copy of the application and submit it to the CCC office prior to mailing it.  If a family needs assistance in completing the application, feel free to contact Sr. Barbara Bir for guidance.
